I treated myself to this doll last year around Christmastime. I wanted a non-platinum-blonde doll who was poseable and looked classy and yet was versatile to fit any time frame. Since I sew for and photograph fashion dolls, the look of the doll is particularly important to me.
I would recommend this more for the older child - perhaps 6 or 7 and up. The poseable limbs will tend to be a bit more fragile than regular Barbie limbs, but as long as you don't yank and torque her about, she should last a long time. Mine has had loose legs since I bought her almost a year ago but I treat her with care and I see no signs that they are about to fall off. This doll's hair is nice as well because it is quite stiff and will retain its style for months. When it begins to get frizzed, just get a comb and smooth it out and it looks good again.
I also loved this doll's outfit, complete with bobbysox and saddleshoes. I can highly recommend this for any little girl, Coke enthusiast, doll collector, or the child at heart. This doll is lots of fun.

I hope that someday Mattell realizes that kids like to play with Barbies. They cant even brush the rats nests they call hair without the head falling off. My kids play with my old Barbies because they were made better. Mattell needs to stop making [stuff]. Even the more expensive Holiday Barbies fall apart. I would pay more for a better made Barbie but as it is when my kids get them for presents I dont let them take them out of the box because it is the only place they wont fall apart.

My daughter loved her and she goes great with other coke items that might be laying around the home.
