I purchased this item for my granddaughter who is 16 months old because I feel that it will be great with helping her build her vocabulary. Toddlers enjoy repeating things, so this will be great. One doll will say things such as: "I'm a big girl," and the other doll will say, "I'm a big girl too." The dolls can be as fas away as 8 feet and they are so cute in person. They come with blue or brown eyes as well as an African American version. Excellent buy.
